Graduate and certificate programs
PhD, Communication Sciences and Disorders
UNC Greensboro's Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) PhD program has been recommended for discontinuation. We feel this program is extremely important to our CSD department, UNCG, and the CSD field. UNCG's CSD PhD program is innovative, offering part-time and distance education options, which are critical to help address the shortage of PhD graduates nationwide. UNCG's CSD PhD students are also an integral part of the bachelor's and master's programs in CSD - helping with clinical supervision, teaching and assisting in courses, and co-directing student projects. Given the impact of our CSD PhD program, we feel UNCG should NOT eliminate UNCG's CSD PhD Program.Â
